Man dies in hit-run crash on NYC parkway after medical episode

A 66-year-old man died after he was rear-ended in a hit-and-run crash and then suffered a medical episode on a Manhattan parkway Wednesday, police said.

The victim was driving a black SUV northbound on the Henry Hudson Parkway when someone rammed into the back of his car near W. 125th St. around 2:45 p.m., cops said.

The man lost control, hit a guardrail and had an unspecified medical episode, according to police.

Medics rushed him to Mount Sinai Morningside, but he could not be saved.

The driver who rear-ended him took off. A search is underway.
