On Sunday, April 10, Mercury enters stubborn, steady Taurus. This is a moment to slow down, to pay attention to all that your five senses are telling you and make decisions in your own good time — nothing, and no one, gets to rush you. Then on Thursday night, Mars enters Pisces. You’re now less driven to achieve or succeed, and more motivated to connect with others, to find your place in the universe, to feel. Finally, on Saturday, a full moon in Libra shines a light on relationships that have become unbalanced or strayed off course, while also illuminating how you could work to repair them.

You’re not typically someone who makes your emotions more complicated than they need to be. You’re skilled at recognizing and accepting simplicity, at allowing that some relationships, some situations, really are exactly as they appear. There are times when your discontentment with your very existence — and all its limitations and imperfections — feels painfully sharp. You can’t help but think of all the past choices you’ll never get the chance to make, all the paths untaken. But if your dissatisfaction has been unbearable lately, this week it can ease again. You have the energy now to look around you and notice everything beautiful in your life as it is. Nothing is going to satisfy you completely — you know that a bit of unfulfilled longing is normal, healthy — but that doesn’t mean this life you’ve made isn’t enough.

There’s a part of you that believes your ordinary human hopes and desires — for success or comfort or love — are too frivolous for this violent moment in history. You imagine that you should wait until some unspecified date in the future, when things have returned to “normal,” to start openly chasing those dreams again. But, of course, you can’t put your humanity on hold, can’t pretend your personal emotional life has conveniently stopped existing….
