On Wednesday night, a new moon in Libra asks you to consider what kind of community — be it solidarity or sweet, simple friendship — has been missing from your life. This is your chance to begin addressing the absences, to fill the empty places in your heart. Then, on Thursday morning, Venus moves into restless Sagittarius. Love doesn’t have to feel so intense anymore, so all-consuming and liable to tip over into anxious obsession. It’s possible now to remember how delightful, how rewarding and fun it can be to reach out to others without any pressure or expectations, only a genuine desire to connect.
Sometimes, boredom is best remedied by learning to see your life anew — to appreciate the ordinary pleasures that fill your days and find the wonder hidden in your routines. Really, though, it’s possible to cultivate your curiosity, to treat your sharp mind with the same care as you would a garden. This week, your task is to tend to your inner life by reading instead of scrolling, or by spending time with the friends who light your mind up, or just by moving through the world with your eyes and heart open.
It can be tempting to conflate complexity and wisdom, to imagine that the more convoluted an argument is, the more weight it carries, or to convince yourself that nothing simple can be trusted. But placing too much value on difficulty can lead you to invent unnecessary complications, to create tangles and obstacles where things would otherwise have been easy. If you’ve been making certain situations (or relationships) more challenging than they had to be, right now is the time to step back, reassess, and accept ease when it is offered to you.
Being honest with others…
