Kate and William drop THEIR OWN trailer just minutes before Harry and Meghan’s

The Prince and Princess of Wales released a new Instagram video from their US tour just minutes before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex‘s trailer for their bombshell Netflix docuseries dropped today.

Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a short video showing the royal couple enjoying an NBA game between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat at the end of the first day of their visit to the States.

The video shared on their official Instagram account was captioned: ‘Baskets in Boston… Fantastic to celebrate the arrival of #EarthshotBoston2022 in the city and meet members of the community doing amazing things to protect and restore our planet. Last night’s @Celtics #HeroAmongUs, Ollie Perrault, fights for environmental justice, working to get more young people involved in climate action – and all this at 15 years old. Amazing work!’

It was released just minutes before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 72-second trailer for their Netflix series.

William and Kate make appearance in Harry and Meghan’s bombshell Netflix trailer

Images of William and Kate with Harry and Meghan at the Commonwealth Day service in 2020, the Sussexes’ final public appearance as senior working royals, feature among the images in Harry and Meghan’s bombshell trailer.

The one-minute trailer, which featured never before seen private photographs of the couple, was released on the second day of the Prince and Princess of Wales’s high-profile trip to the US.

In one section of the footage, Meghan appears to be wiping away tears with both hands as they stream down her face, while Harry sits and tilts his head right back, seemingly in distress.

The couple are heard being asked: ‘Why did you want to make this documentary?’

Harry says ‘No one sees what’s happening behind closed doors… I had to do everything I could to protect my family’, while Meghan says, ‘When the stakes were this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?’

Also, there are happy snapshots of the Sussexes kissing while Meghan sits on a kitchen island, as newlyweds dancing with joy at their evening wedding do, cuddling in a photobooth and Meghan cradling her bump while pregnant.

But the duchess is also pictured with her hand over her face as she sits cross legged on a chair holding a phone but it is not clear in this image whether she is crying.

The preview for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix documentary, titled Harry & Meghan, features personal photos of the couple flashing across the screen. They are heard being asked ‘Why did you want to make this documentary?’ to which Harry replies: ‘No one sees what’s happening behind closed doors.’

He adds: ‘I had to do everything I could to protect my family’ before Meghan is seen appearing to wipe away tears.

She adds: ‘When the stakes are this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?’

The advert could hardly come at a worst time for William and Kate, who are on the second…
