During their live interview Monday night, Wilkinson said one way to save money is to use the value Disney resorts which are located on the theme park compounds but at more affordable prices. That way you can get the same convenience of staying close to the park but at $200 a night if you can catch a good sale.

“Staying at a Disney resort can come with other perks like early admission and the ability to stay later at the parks,” he said.

He suggested buying Disney gift cards at Costco and Sam’s Club. The cards work just like cash within the theme parks but you can get $100 worth of food, souvenirs, and ticket upgrades for $80.

Canzano and Wilkinson discussed the Genie+ app, individual lightning lanes and the virtual queue rides.

Aside from Disneyland and Disney World, Wilkinson also explained the Aulani Resort in Hawaii, Disney cruises and Adventures with Disney — a boutique travel service offered by the company that caters to groups of 12 to 16 people.
