IT WILL GET WEAKER AS IT MOVES OVER CENTRAL AMERICA AND MEXICO AND BECOMES A REMNANT LOW INTO THE BAY OF CAP ICHI I THE WEEKEND. EXPECTING VERY HEAVY RAIN FOR BELIEZE. HURRICANE MARTIN IS OVER THE OPEN WATERS. YOU CAN SEE IT IS NOT AFFECTING ANY LAND AT ALL AS IT MOVES INTO THE MUCH COOLER WATERS OF THE NORTHERN ATLANTIC. IT IS EXPECTED TO BE EXTRATROPICAL BY THEN. Hurricane Lisa forms

Tropical Storm Lisa strengthened into a hurricane Wednesday.As of Wednesday morning, the storm was located 35 miles east-southeast of Belize City. Lisa had maximum sustained winds of 80 mph and was moving west at 14 mph.”On the forecast track, the center of Lisa will make landfall in Belize later this afternoon, and then cross northern Guatemala and move into southeastern Mexico by Thursday,” the National Hurricane Center said. “Some strengthening is still possible before landfall.
