Candidates of Virginia’s Sixth Congressional District talk issues ahead of

(WFXR)– With election day quickly approaching, candidates in Virginia’s Sixth Congressional District are weighing in on the issues. Incumbent Republican Ben Cline is facing off against Democrat Jennifer Lewis.

Congressman Cline said he believes Washington sometimes overlooks hard-working families. His focus, in Congress, is farmers, small business owners, and others who are struggling with the rise in inflation. Here’s his full interview.

Farmers are also a top priority for Lewis, she said, should she take the seat. She also touched on the need for more mental health resources. When she walked the neighborhoods of the District, Lewis said people talk to her about abortion access and fear of losing democracy. Here’s her full interview.

Election day is on Nov. 8th. If you are unsure where to vote, you can head to the Virginia Department of Elections to find out the closest location to you.
