Packers vs. Bears score: Live updates, game stats, highlights for NFC North

At halftime of the Week 2 edition of “Sunday Night Football,” the Green Bay Packers lead the division rival Chicago Bears by a score of 24-7.

Both Green Bay touchdowns came courtesy of Aaron Jones, who was relatively uninvolved in the team’s offense in Week 1. Packers coach Matt LaFleur said he would make it a priority to get both Jones and AJ Dillon more touches this week, and he certainly did that in the first half. Jones finished the half with seven carries and three catches for 92 total yards and the two scores, while Dillon added 10 carries for 31 yards and had a chunk run taken off the board by a back-side penalty. Green Bay’s rookie receivers, who each struggled last week, also added positive plays in the passing game.

Chicago held a brief lead after Justin Fields led a scoring drive on the team’s first possession of the game. David Montgomery had much more success running the ball than he did in the Bears’ slop-fest against the 49ers last week, but Chicago simply did not run very many plays in the first half. The Bears went three-and-out on each of their next three possessions after Fields’ touchdown run on the first drive, and by the time they got the ball back for their final drive of the half, the Packers staked themselves to a three-score lead.

Will the Packers hang on for the win, or will the Bears stage a surprising comeback on the road? We’ll find out soon enough. In the meantime, keep it locked to our live blog throughout the rest of the evening as we update you with stats, scores, and highlights.
