Kells under-12s add to club’s trophy cabinet with win

Kells Under-12s have added to the club’s growing trophy collection by winning the West Cumbria Youth League Cup.

They beat Seaton 18-4 in the final after Seaton had been the first to score with an unconverted try from Billy Price.

Kells had fought back to grab the lead before half-time with a try from Harry Vaughan which was converted by Rhys Williamson.

In the second-half Kells scored three unanswered tries from Williamson (2) and Louis Nightingale, none of which were converted.

The Kells first team won the National Conference Division One title while on Friday night the A team won the CARL Division One top four play-off final.
