Clemson vs. Georgia Tech score: Live game updates, college football scores, NCAA

ATLANTA — Through one quarter, No. 4 Clemson and Georgia Tech seem like they’re bound for the same low-scoring affair they played in this time last year. The Tigers and Yellow Jackets are scoreless after 15 minutes with each offense notching just two first downs.

The game got off to a sloppy start when Georgia Tech quarterback Jeff Sims was hit as he threw on the first play of the game, resulting in a wounded duck of a pass that landed in the arms of Clemson’s Andrew Mukuba. The Tigers couldn’t capitalize, however, and went three and out.

All eyes have been on Tigers quarterback DJ Uiagalelei after a subpar season in 2021, and it appears that his inconsistency has bled into this year. The former five-star prospect lost a fumble on the Tigers’ second possession of the game and has only 25 yards passing. Freshman sensation Cade Klubnik is waiting in the wings in case Uiagalelei continues to struggle, and it’ll be interesting to see if coach Dabo Swinney goes to him tonight.

CBS Sports will be with you the entire way breaking down everything that happens as Clemson battles with Georgia Tech. Keep it locked here for live scores, analysis and highlights throughout the game.
