2021 Rogers Scholar and Paintsville Independent High School student Kaleb Triplett recently delivered donation cabinets to various organizations in Eastern Kentucky for his community service project, according to a statement from the Center for Rural Development.

“The project was very meaningful and necessary to this community,” said Triplett. “Though

donation boxes are only a band aid on the issue of poverty, they will hopefully ease a little bit of the struggle until we solve the root of the problem.”

According to the statement, graduates of The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars program are required to complete a community service project. For more information about Rogers Scholars, visit, www.centeryouthprograms.com.
