COVID-19 hospitalizations increase in Wisconsin, reaching March levels


The state is currently experiencing an uptick in COVID-19 hospitalizations, with more than 50 people being hospitalized in the last week. 

On Friday, the Wisconsin Hospital Association reported 427 COVID patients in hospitals across the state, this is an increase of 53 patients from July 1 and also the highest level in the state since early March. 

Wisconsin is also experiencing an uptick in transmission, as the positivity rate has increased steadily throughout the week starting July 3, up to 13.2%.
