KYTC removing illegally placed signs from US & KY routes – News 40


All items to move from state-maintained right-of-way areas

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crews are removing illegally placed items along state-maintained right-of-way areas.

The KYTC reminds political candidates, residents, business operators, and property owners that no signage is allowed on right-of-way along US and KY routes.

The KYTC says the signs are especially not allowed on roundabouts and state highway department owned areas just a few feet off the highway.

The only exceptions are official highway signs and items approved through a permit process.
