Seven school boards sue to stop Gov. Youngkin’s mask-optional order on the day


Once inside, some students informed their parents via phone that they were being placed in an auditorium, away from other students. Clint Thomas, one of the parents, pressed the intercom button at the school’s front doors repeatedly to demand a meeting with the school’s principal, William Shipp. About 15 minutes later, Shipp walked outside, removing his mask as he did so.
