Yogi Cabinet takes big step, common man to get huge benefits


Lucknow: Notification for the upcoming elections in UP, the country’s largest state, is set to be issued in no time. Earlier, the Yogi Adityanath government in the state has taken a major step. The Yogi government has decided to increase the honorarium of Anganwadi workers, mini-Anganwadi workers and helpers in the state. The state government will also provide incentives to the trio for their commendable work done in the adverse conditions of the corona.

The decision was taken in the Cabinet by Circulation on Saturday and the Cabinet has given its approval to the proposal moved by the Department of Child Development and Nutrition. According to reports, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will soon announce an increase in honorarium and incentives. In fact, the State Government has decided to increase the honorarium on Saturday. Chief Minister Yogi is said to announce it in the next day or two. Because the notification can come into force anytime after 5th January in the State.

The Cabinet has also sealed the guidelines for grant-in-aid for renovation, repair, reconstruction and creation of infrastructure facilities for aided secondary schools and Sanskrit secondary schools. Under this decision of the State Government, only 50-year-old schools will get grants and the State Government will also give the same amount for the grant as the schools will spend from them. 200 crores in the Supplementary Budget and now the State Government has decided on it.
