Fantasy WR Injury Report Week 16 | AFC
Which AFC wide receivers are potential concerns for fantasy managers heading into Week 16? In yet another crucial week of the fantasy season, who are managers left worrying about this week?
Devin Duvernay | Baltimore Ravens
After failing to practice all week, Devin Duvernay is listed as questionable. He was not going to feature in many lineups even if on the field and will likely sit with the doubtful tag.
Cole Beasley, Emmanuel Sanders, and Gabriel Davis | Buffalo Bills
The Bills are set to be without Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis this Sunday. Both tested positive for COVID during the week and are known to be unvaccinated. Thus, they must miss a mandatory 10 days. That rules them out for Week 16. Beasley could return in Week 17, while Davis is expected to have to wait for Week 18.
There was positive news as Emmanuel Sanders returned as a full participant Thursday and Friday. He has been dealing with a knee injury but will likely be available alongside Stefon Diggs as the top two receivers on the roster.
Jarvis Landry | Cleveland Browns
Jarvis Landry’s time in quarantine expired on Friday ahead of the Browns’ game on Saturday. He was added back to the active roster and is expected to play against the Packers.
Courtland Sutton | Denver Broncos
After being limited with a wrist injury on Wednesday, Courtland Sutton returned to a full practice Thursday. He has no injury designation and barring a setback should be a full go on Sunday.
Brandin Cooks and Chris Conley | Houston Texans
Brandin Cooks was added to the Texans’ reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday. It seems extremely unlikely that he will clear the protocol in time. Chris Conley, meanwhile, was limited earlier in the week with a knee injury, but returned to a full participant on Thursday and should suit up.
Laviska Shenault Jr. | Jacksonville Jaguars
It already seemed likely that fantasy managers would be without Laviska Shenault Jr. after he was on the injury report to open the week. Then, the latest update all but confirmed that. Shenault has been placed on the reserve/COVID list and is expected to now miss Sunday’s game against the Jets.
Tyreek Hill | Kansas City Chiefs
Update 12/25/21: NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that Hill has cleared COVID-19 protocols.
All eyes will be on Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce this weekend. Both are on the reserve/COVID-19 list but have the potential to clear ahead of the game. We do not know whether there might be any factors that could cause Hill to be limited if activated. If he returns, you are likely starting him outside of extreme circumstances.
Zay Jones | Las Vegas Raiders
Despite not participating Wednesday and being limited with a toe injury Thursday and Friday, Zay Jones has no injury designation this week. He should start and has the potential to be a dangerous fantasy contributor with the number…
