Shane Beamer dances in the locker room after win over Auburn

To say that South Carolina football coach Shane Beamer was jacked up following his team’s 21-17 win over Auburn would be an understatement. Beamer, a first-year head coach who has led his team to enough wins to qualify for a bowl game, let loose a little bit in the locker room following the win.

The Gamecocks (6-5, 3-5) upset the Tigers (6-5, 3-4) on Saturday night at Williams-Brice Stadium. The home team fell behind 14 points in the first quarter but the defense locked in and allowed only a field goal over the final three quarters.

“I’d give him about a 4 out of 10,” fullback Trai Jones said, when asked how well Beamer danced.

Running back ZaQuandre White had 168 yards of offense, gaining 99 on the ground and 69 through the air.

South Carolina will return to the field next Saturday for its final game of the regular season. Kickoff against Clemson is set for 7:30 p.m. with coverage on the SEC Network.
