LPA to bring cloudy skies, rains over Palawan
At 3 a.m. on Saturday, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 125 kilometers west of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan as the northeast monsoon will be affecting northern Luzon, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the LPA with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila, Visayas, Mindanao, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, and the rest of MIMAROPA will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
The wind speed forecast for Luzon and Visayas is light to moderate moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
Mindanao will have light to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
Sunrise will be at 5:53 a.m. while sunset will occur by 5:26 p.m. — BAP, GMA News
