One TikTok user has transformed a tatty old IKEA cabinet into a glamorous new one and we can’t believe how great it looks.

And the best thing about this furniture upcycle?

She only spent £15 doing it!

Interior fan Kelsey posted the video to her TikTok account ‘homewithkelsey’, where she regularly posts interior styling tips and DIY hacks.

She’s currently renting a home in London but has added her special touch by glamming it up with chic DIY hacks that have barely cost her a penny.

Kelsey uploaded the video with the caption ‘DIY IKEA cabinet upcycle’ and shows her quick step-by-step guide on how she completely transformed an old IKEA cabinet.

Prior to the upcycle transformation, Kelsey had an old, wooden cabinet that she turned into a chic, on-trend one, in just five steps.

Firstly, she sanded down the cabinet so it was ready to be painted.

Then she primed it with a white primer so it was ready for paint.

Next, Kelsey freshened it up with some paint – a gorgeous green that is super on-trend at the moment.

She then changed the handles from little black ones to gorgeous gold ones, really adding character to the cabinet.

She added reeded glass film to the inside of the doors, instantly adding a chic feel to the cabinet.

And voila!

With not that much effort or money spent, Kelsey completely transformed her old, tatty cupboard into something that looks like it’s worth hundreds.

What once was a boring brown wood is now a gorgeous green with trendy gold handles.

Clearly Kelsey’s upcycle has impressed numerous people as it has racked up over 22.3k views.

At the time of writing, just four days after the video was uploaded, it has racked up 757 likes and 35 shares.
