2021 MLB playoffs scores: Live updates as Astros-White Sox kicks off four-game

Major League Baseball’s 2021 postseason kicks into high gear on Friday with a full slate of divisional round games. The Chicago White Sox and Houston Astros will begin the day’s action at 2 p.m. ET. The Astros are looking to carve out a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series. Houston, it should be noted, has made trips to each of the last four Championship Series.

The Tampa Bay Rays will attempt to take their own 2-0 lead against the Boston Red Sox later in the night. Meanwhile, both of the NLDS will play their first games: the Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers in the late afternoon, and then the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants as the nightcap. Here’s the complete playoff schedule.
