Over 4.46 million people in Hong Kong jabbed


Over 4.46 million people in Hong Kong have gotten their first dose of a Covid vaccine as of yesterday night, with 4.13 million of them having received both doses.

An additional 26,700 people have received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine on Monday, taking the city’s tally of people who have received their first jab to 4,465,800. Of this number, about 1,620,000 have received the Sinovac vaccine and about 2,845,800 have received the BioNTech vaccine.

Meanwhile, a total of 4,135,000 individuals have received their second dose of the vaccine, with about 1,498,500 receiving the Sinovac vaccine and about 2,636,500 receiving the BioNTech vaccine.

On Sunday, five individuals were sent to the hospital after experiencing common side effects following vaccination and were in stable condition. Four of them were discharged while the remaining person left the hospital without seeking any consultation.
